comida-MSUD B formula is an isoleucine, leucine and valine free* amino acid based powdered formula containing essential and nonessential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

For the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease, suitable from 1 year of age onwards.

Recommended intake and administration

To be determined by the clinician or dietitian and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.

Preparation Guidelines

To prepare 100ml formula at 15% standard dilution:

Add 2 level scoops (approximately 15g powder) to 90ml water.
Mix well or use a shaker until all the powder is fully dissolved.

1 level scoop = approximately 7,5g comida-MSUD B formula.

100ml prepared comida-MSUD B formula provides 4,5g protein equivalent (PE).

The product should be freshly prepared and consumed immediately. However, if this is not possible, any prepared product must be tightly covered and consumed within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated. Re-shake before use.
